200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training in Columbia, MO
Our 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Training program is accredited through Yoga Alliance and designed to lead you through self-discovery in your own practice, as well as empower you to skillfully guide others. This training offers an opportunity for
self-growth, personal development, and a deeper understanding of yourself and Yoga.
We will explore yoga history and philosophy, anatomy, alignment, Ayurveda, teaching methodology, and more while tapping into the expansiveness of this practice. The experience will be richly informative, transformative, and inspiring. Through the thoughtful curriculum, intentional movement, group study, and diverse guest lecturers, you will have the opportunity to dive deeper into your yoga practice and weave these
tools into your teachings and life off the mat.

Experience a Registered Yoga Teacher Training With Lotus Hot Yoga in Columbia, MO
We will begin training in September 2025, meeting for 180 contact hours, dates listed below.
This time together will form the base hours of the mandatory core curriculum for the 200-hour RYT requirements. Hours are completed through lectures, class observation, practice, teaching within our Lotus community, and at-home study. You will be provided with two books – one on anatomy and one on sequencing – to use in conjunction with these areas of study. Another portion of the training will include a choice between three different modules of study to be selected after several months of training. Each module is guided by a book and facilitator and work must be completed prior to certification.
To earn the RYT-200 designation from Yoga Alliance, it is necessary to attend all of the training intensives, complete the full 200 hours, meet the financial obligations, and be able to competently, safely, and compassionately guide a yoga class.
Registered Yoga Teacher course fees & tuition
The 200-hour YTT program tuition is $3,500.
Once your application has been accepted, a $500 deposit is due with your signed enrollment agreement.
Upon the start of training, teacher trainees are provided with a Lotus Hot Yoga membership for the length of the training, as well as a 30% retail discount in the studio.
Tuition payment options:
- Early Bird: $3,000 ($2,500 after deposit) if paid in full 60 days before start date. Save $500!
- Payment Plan: 6 payments of $500 (after the $500 deposit). Payments are to be made by the 1st of each month, October - March.
Registered Yoga Teacher training program prerequisites
Prospective candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a current, regular yoga practice of at least once a week.
- Be available to commit to the full course schedule.
- Submit the Enrollment Form, $500 deposit, and commit to the full tuition.

Fridays 5:30p - 8:30p, Saturdays/Sundays 8a - 4p
One Monday & Wednesday evening a month: 5:30p - 8:30p
